Why I Created ADHD Child Parent Hub

If you’re a working mum raising a child with ADHD, you probably don’t need another expert telling you what you should be doing.

You need support that fits into real life.

The kind of life where you’re trying to get everyone out of the door on time, answer work emails, remember PE kits, sort dinner, help with homework and somehow keep your own head above water.

Some days feel like a military operation before 8am.

The school bag has disappeared.

The homework sheet has vanished.

Someone is in tears because their socks don’t feel right.

You’re already running late for work.

And before the day has even started, you’re exhausted.

I know because I’ve been there.

My child has ADHD and is now an adult. Looking back, I can see so many things more clearly now. I can see the challenges they faced. I can see the mistakes I made. I can see the things that worked and the things that didn’t.

Most of all, I can see how much easier the journey would have been if I’d had the right support in one place.

Years ago, whenever I needed help, I’d find myself jumping between websites, Facebook groups, books and endless Google searches.

One person would tell me to be stricter.

Another would tell me to relax.

One article would suggest a complicated system that looked amazing on paper but fell apart after three days of real family life.

I wasn’t looking for perfection.

I was looking for practical help.

I wanted someone to explain what was actually happening.

I wanted routines that worked for busy families.

I wanted ideas I could use without spending hours creating charts and colour-coded systems.

Most of all, I wanted reassurance that my child was going to be okay.

Because if we’re honest, that’s the worry that sits underneath everything.

We worry about school.

We worry about friendships.

We worry about confidence.

We worry about the future.

We worry that we’re not doing enough.

The truth is, most parents of children with ADHD aren’t looking for miracle solutions.

They’re looking for breathing space.

They’re looking for practical strategies.

They’re looking for ways to reduce the daily battles.

They’re looking for tools that help their child feel successful instead of constantly feeling as though they’re getting things wrong.

And they’re looking for support from people who genuinely understand what family life can be like.

That’s exactly why I created ADHD Child Parent Hub.

I wanted to create the resource I wish I’d had years ago.

A place where parents can find support, ideas, routines, wellbeing tools, school support and practical strategies without having to spend hours searching for answers.

A place that focuses on progress instead of perfection.

A place that helps parents celebrate the small wins because those small wins matter more than people realise.

Inside the hub you’ll find support for different age groups, routines and visual schedules, reward systems, wellbeing tools, school support resources, practical strategies and progress tracking.

Everything has been designed with real families in mind.

Not perfect families.

Not families with endless free time.

Real families juggling work, school, home life and everything else that comes with raising a child with ADHD.

If there’s one thing I’ve learned over the years, it’s this.

You don’t have to get everything right.

You don’t need the perfect routine.

You don’t need the perfect strategy.

You don’t need to compare yourself to other parents.

You simply need the right support and the confidence to keep going.

Some days will be harder than others.

Some days will surprise you.

Some days you’ll wonder whether anything is working at all.

Then one day you’ll look back and realise how far you’ve both come.

That’s why ADHD Child Parent Hub exists.

From one mum to another, you’ve got this.
